The availability of gyms in Chita is extremely low. It is almost impossible to find a room not on the basement floor for a private club. This was stated by a member of the Civic Chamber of Transbaikalia Natalya Kochergina, commenting on the news that the pupils of the sports club lost the gym because of the rains.
“In relation to the situation of the Asa club, I want to say that it is important to understand how the lease agreement was drawn up and how the lost equipment will be reimbursed. It will be really difficult to find a suitable hall for the guys. I will say more, even the gyms of educational institutions do not meet the requirements and can hardly carry out the educational process,” the portal’s interlocutor said.
She added that the report of the Ministry of Sports of the Trans-Baikal Territory said that the number of sports facilities and facilities does not correspond to the number of people living in the region, and the allocated funds for the construction of facilities do not even partially solve this problem.
“The region needs multifunctional sports complexes with playgrounds, martial arts halls, swimming pools, because we have the opportunity to practice outdoors only 4-5 months a year,” the social activist added.
Earlier, “MK in Chita” told that a sports club, in which, among other things, children with special needs, can’t find a suitable room to start training in September.
