Sochi residents won four medals at the Russian Universal Combat Championship

Representatives from Sochi returned from the Russian Universal Combat Championship with four medals. Vladimir Gagulov won the gold award, Vladimir Vinogradov, Eric Kalajyan and Maxim Nikolaenko won bronze medals. About it reports administration of Sochi.
The Russian Championship among boys and girls aged 12-17 was held in Perm. More than 500 athletes from 49 regions of Russia competed for medals. The national team of the Krasnodar region was represented by students of five military-patriotic clubs in Sochi: “Paratrooper”, “Guard”, “Wings”, “Hammer” and “Yastreb”.
According to Sergei Cheremshanov, head of the youth policy department of the Sochi administration, the city pays great attention to military-patriotic work with youth. It is being carried out on behalf of the head of the resort, Alexey Kopaygorodsky.
