Sochi players lost big in Orenburg

Sochi in the 11th round of the Russian Premier League suffered a crushing defeat away from Orenburg. The match, which took place at the Gazovik stadium, ended with the score 4:1 in favor of the Ural team.

Already in the first half Orenburg took the lead 3:0. Timur Ayupov scored in the 3rd minute, Gabriel Florentin from Argentina scored in the 21st minute, and Vladimir Sychevoi converted a penalty in the 44th minute. Moreover, a violation of the Malian defender of Sochi, Moussa Sissako, led to the appointment of a 11-meter kick, for which he was sent off the field.

In the second half, the Costa Rican midfielder Orenburg scored the fourth goal against Soslan Dzhanaev in the 53rd minute, converting another penalty.

And only in the 69th minute the Sochi team were able to reduce the difference in the score – Timofey Shipunov scored from Artem Makarchuk’s pass.

Sochi mentor Alexander Tochilin at a press conference called the opponent’s victory deserved.

“Unfortunately, nothing happened on our end. We all coaching staff take responsibility for the result, – said the specialist.

This is the second defeat of the Chernomortsy during this week, earlier in the Cup of Russia they lost away to CSKA Moscow with a score of 1:2.

In the RPL, the Chernomorians have 17 points left, Orenburg scored 15 tournament points.

On October 8, Sochi in the 12th round of the RPL will host the Moscow Lokomotiv at home.
