Sochi resident Eduard Gasparyan won a medal at an international karate tournament. Competitions called “Golden Belt” were held in Serbia. Karatekas from 20 countries took part in them.
How reports Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Sochi, Eduard performed as part of the Russian national team in the weight category up to 84 kg. As a result, he became third in kumite, winning a bronze award. The first two places were taken by karatekas from Croatia.
