In addition to sports, the event focuses on safety on the water. The tour for the participants of the festival will be conducted by the staff of the SURPS. They will demonstrate the rescue equipment to the athletes.
Children will also be taught how to weave sea knots, as well as riding boots and water skiing and scuba diving. And on City Day, as part of the festival, pupils of children’s sports school No. 1 and young yachtsmen of the Olympic reserve school will compete in sailing.
