Sochi hockey players ended 2023 with their 10th defeat in a row

The Sochi hockey club failed to score points in the final match of 2023. At their site in the Bolshoi Ice Palace, the Leopards lost to Dynamo Minsk with a score of 4:7. The game was attended by 3,750 spectators.
Already in the 31st second of the meeting, the hosts found themselves in the role of winning back. The opponent was always 1-2 goals ahead. After goals from Artur Tyanulin, Timur Khafizov, Danila Galenyuk and Michal Krzysztof, the Sochi team managed to restore equality in the 48th minute – 4:4. However, in the remaining time, the Minsk team managed to score 3 unanswered goals, the last of them into an empty net.
During the match, the Sochi team made 27 shots on target, the Dynamo team – 39.
For the Black Sea team, this was the 10th defeat in a row. The Leopards have 33 points left, Dmitry Kokorev’s team is in last 11th place in the Western Conference. Dynamo Minsk has 42 tournament points and 8th position in the West.
In the first match of 2024 on January 3, the Sochi team will meet at home with Metallurg from Magnitogorsk.
