Sochi athletes won five medals at the tournament on Judo Day

Competitions dedicated to World Judo Day were held in the village of Dinskaya. Boys and girls under 15 years old took part in them. This was reported by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Sochi.
Among the winners were students from Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 27 in Sochi. They have five medals of varying denominations.
Thus, Anastasia Kopeikina rose to the highest step of the podium. She became first in the weight category up to 52 kg. Arkady Topchyan (up to 42 kg category) and Alesya Novosad (up to 36 kg) won silver medals. Irakli Pruidze (weight up to 46 kg) and Erik Lopatetsky (up to 50 kg) won bronze.
International Judo Day is celebrated on October 28.
