Sobyanin: the growth of drug production at Moscow pharmaceutical enterprises amounted to two-thirds

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the production of medicines in the Russian capital in 2023 increased by two-thirds.
During the opening of a new pharmaceutical complex of the R-Opra company (R-Pharm Group) in Zelenograd, Sobyanin said that the growth was 67.5 percent.
“This is already the result of many years of work that we are carrying out, systematic work,” the mayor said.
The pharmaceutical complex was created at the Alabushevo site of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone. Sobyanin participated in the opening together with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
Sobyanin thanked the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation and the investors who invested in production for their support.
R-Pharm Group of Companies has undertaken to build a full-cycle production complex in Alabushevo with an area of more than 30.5 thousand square meters for the production of 26 international non-proprietary names (INN) of drugs. The Moscow authorities guaranteed the purchase of manufactured medicines for a total of about 10.9 billion rubles for seven years. Investments in the project amounted to 6.99 billion rubles. The plant will create 270 jobs.
