Sobyanin reported damage due to a drone hitting one of the Moscow City buildings

On the night of August 23, Russian air defense systems shot down two drones that were trying to attack Moscow, the third hit a building under construction on the territory of the Moscow City complex. About it informed Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.
“This night, air defense shot down a drone in the Mozhaisk district of the Moscow region. The second UAV hit a building under construction in the City. Operational services left for the scene of incidents,” he wrote. Later, Sobyanin announced another downed drone in the Khimki region.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured. However, two five-story buildings adjacent to the City building were damaged. As the mayor of Moscow specified, several windows were broken in them.
The Ministry of Defense, in turn, reported on the suppression of Kyiv’s attack on Moscow with the help of three drones. According to the agency, two drones were destroyed by air defense forces, and the third was suppressed by electronic warfare, due to which the device lost control and fell into the building of the Moscow City complex under construction. The Ministry of Defense also stressed that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
