“Investments in the Moscow economy in the first six months of 2023 exceeded 2.2 trillion rubles. This is 5% in comparable prices higher than the figures for the same period in 2022,” he wrote.
At the same time, 1.8 trillion rubles. invested in large and medium-sized businesses. Entrepreneurs, Sobyanin noted, invested money in industrial machinery and equipment, construction of residential and non-residential buildings, landscaping, as well as the creation of intellectual property.
Sobyanin recalled that Moscow has several systemic and anti-crisis support measures in place for investors, as well as convenient tools, including an investment portal and a supplier portal. As the mayor noted, Moscow also has a sales market with great purchasing power.
According to Sobyanin, investments in the Moscow economy are constantly growing. For comparison, for the entire 2022, the city’s economy contributed invested RUB 5.9 trillion, which is 2.2% more than in 2021.
