Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that he had instructed the presidium of the capital’s government to resolve the issue of indexing pensions for elderly Muscovites. He set this task for city officials during the first meeting of the Moscow Cabinet of Ministers after his inauguration.
“In Moscow, in 2024, the city pension supplement will be indexed. This instruction was given by Sergei Sobyanin at the first meeting of the Moscow government presidium after taking office as mayor of Moscow,” the statement says. message Moscow City Hall.
It is expected that the decision to index pension payments may be officially adopted and signed by Mr. Sobyanin “in the near future.”
