This was reported in the Telegram channel of the mayor of the capital.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin lifted all restrictions related to the regime of the counter-terrorist operation. He published this information in his Telegram channel on Monday. The previously imposed restrictions in the capital related to the counter-terrorist operation no longer apply, Sobyanin stressed.
In addition, the mayor said that the citywide graduation for the capital’s schoolchildren will be held on July 1. He expressed gratitude to Muscovites for their calmness and understanding during the restrictions.
The CTO regime was introduced on June 24 in Moscow, the Moscow region and the Voronezh region. In some places, there were traffic restrictions, and residents and guests of Moscow were advised to limit travel around the city. All planned public events have been cancelled.
The authorities urged Muscovites to remain calm and trust official sources. Anti-terrorist measures were taken in the city, and control was tightened on the roads.
The Department of Transport reported possible delays and cancellations of interregional buses from Moscow to the south. The movement of ships along the Moscow River was also limited, and the work of river berths was suspended.
