Political scientist Evgeny Minchenko predicted a criminal case in Russia for TV presenter and journalist Ksenia Sobchak. He expressed this opinion in an interview with NSN.

The analyst suggested that the TV presenter’s opponents are not trying to achieve her media defeat, but much more serious things.

“What could be worse than reputational losses? What happened to her employees today. I don’t rule out the possibility of her being criminally prosecuted… otherwise it’s unclear why all this is being stirred up like this…,” Minchenko said, adding that he doesn’t know who could be behind all this.

The NTV channel previously showed two incriminating films about Ksenia Sobchak. Director Nikita Mikhalkov and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov also gave a negative assessment of the daughter of Senator Lyudmila Narusova and the ex-mayor of St. Petersburg.
