Sobchak expressed irritation with Israel

Ksenia Sobchak, who was reported to have received an Israeli passport, is not liked by everyone in Israel, informs KP.RU. The TV presenter said that most of all she was annoyed there.

Talking with Mikhail Shats (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia), Sobchak said that she often flies to Israel on business trips. Many of her friends live there.

“I notice one thing that irritates me a little, let’s say,” Sobchak said, while noting that she was struggling with this feeling.

According to her, in Israel “no matter how you come, there are always holidays.”

The TV presenter got the feeling that in the country “working days are much less than rest, and everything is closed.”

Shats agreed with her. According to him, many in Israel are faced with the fact that a decision often has to be postponed due to the holidays. However, in his opinion, a large number of days off demonstrates the love of life of the Israelis.

“It’s unusual,” he said. “But on the other hand, you know, you are very imbued with it all.”

The TV presenter said that “many of the Russians who left for Israel had little idea where they were going.”

She also noted that one of the features of this country is a large number of “people with weapons on the streets”, including civilians. This, according to Sobchak, she has not seen anywhere else.

“It’s a little scary at first,” she said. “Then you realize that, in fact, all of Israel’s neighbors are… unfriendly countries.”

Everyone who comes to Israel “comes for safety needs to understand this,” the journalist warned. She also said that in this country “you need to know the nearest bomb shelter and run there at the first sound of an air raid warning.”

Another disadvantage, according to her, is the very high cost of living and “insane taxes” that go up to 50%.

Ksenia also did not like “unreasonably expensive housing and banks, for which you are … an “interfering element.”

And all this adds up, according to her, in a completely non-rosy picture.
