Today, our citizens have entered the era of the great reset. Everything is changing, and in some places – dramatically. These processes could not but affect horticultural associations. To date, there are several opinions about the prospects for the development of SNT. Someone claims that SNT is our future. After all, in 10-15 years everyone will move from high-rise buildings closer to the ground. Supporters of this opinion also have opponents who are sure that in 10-15 years SNT will disappear altogether from the face of the earth. Arguments of the latter: SNTs are populated mainly by older families. Young people also buy dachas, but use them for recreation, barbecue, gatherings with friends. They do not consider SNT as a permanent place of residence. The days of the Soviet Union, where everyone was united, are over. Now everyone is alone. And everyone wants to solve their own problems, not common ones. Therefore, there will be no one to solve common problems, which means that life in the SNT will gradually come to naught.
It should be assumed that the arguments of supporters of the preservation of SNT are stronger and more reasonable. But which side do the authorities of the country prefer to support today?
