The capital company GAMMA-PLAST in December last year increased the shipment of snow shovels by a third compared to the winter period of 2021. Note that the company is one of the leading manufacturers of polymer composite materials.

“In the first 10 months of 2022, plastics manufacturers in the capital increased production by 37.8 percent compared to 2021. This growth is due, among other things, to high demand from consumers. For example, in December 2022, one of the Moscow companies shipped about 200,000 units of snow shovels to customers, which is a third more than in the entire winter season of the previous year. In the manufacture of winter equipment, the company uses only domestic materials, of which 90 percent are raw materials of its own production. In the near future, the company plans to launch the production of scrapers for snow removal,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

The company was one of the first in the country to start producing polycarbonate snow shovels. Today, there are already 8 types of such shovels in the assortment.

“At present, deliveries to the territory of Belarus and Kazakhstan have begun, and negotiations are underway with the largest construction hypermarkets on deliveries for the next season,” said Valery Tsibizov, General Director of the company.
