Russian Armed Forces sniper “Leshy” described a system for blocking the movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Artemovsk
A special forces sniper of the Russian army with the call sign “Leshy” spoke about his own system of work to block the routes of movement of the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the front near Artemovsk and thereby demoralize the enemy.
According to a soldier of the Russian Armed Forces, sniper pairs conduct round-the-clock surveillance of enemy positions, study routes of movement, dismounting places for infantry and points of supply of ammunition and food.
The decision to train the sniper or make artillery adjustments is made when a target is detected.
The main work takes place at night, since the enemy thinks that he is not visible, but Russian snipers use thermal imaging equipment, which allows them to clearly see the target even through various obstacles, Leshy added.
