Grenade launchers from the Zapad group blew up a car with Ukrainian commanders
Grenade throwers from the West group of forces in Kupyansky blew up an armored car with Ukrainian commanders, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Soldiers of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the West group of forces used an RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher to destroy an armored vehicle in which the command staff of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ infantry units was traveling,” the report says.
Reportedly, the armored car was identified using a drone, after which the information was transferred to grenade launchers.
“The crew immediately took a firing position and hit this armored car with the first shot,” said a participant in the events, the commander of a motorized rifle company with the call sign “Square.”
