Deputy Kartapolov: sending notifications of subpoenas via SMS is being prepared for the convenience of citizens
Andrey Kartapolov, head of the Duma Defense Committee, said that plans to send notices of subpoenas issued via SMS are designed for the convenience of citizens. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense presented a corresponding draft, according to which, when creating an agenda as part of the mobilization, notifications will be sent to the State Services and by SMS to the phone number linked to the account on the State Services.
“This is done for the convenience of our citizens, – declared Kartapolov RBC. “So that they fully own all the information.”
According to the deputy, sanctions will not be applied to a citizen if, for some reason, he did not receive SMS.
“It’s not a summons, it’s just a notification,” he explained.
