It turns out that we will have three contenders at once to get into at least the Superfinal of Group A. OryolSU and SGUS remain the only ones who have not yet lost points this season. True, the Orlovites have already played six matches, and the Smolensk team only three. The spice is added by the fact that OryolGU has never beaten Smolensk. Didn’t win today. Smolensk won against Orel with a score of 3:1.
But back to favorites. The third one is the ISF from Saratov, who stalled at the start, but then straightened out the situation. Saratov is 8 points behind the Orlovites, but only two points are up to the top four. Such a gap is recouped in one mini-tournament. Moreover, today PIS has already started the process by beating Kaliningrad with a score of 0:3.
KSTU, besides today’s one, suffered three more defeats in April, and together with the last season, Kaliningraders lost 19 times in a row. But nothing prevents to interrupt this series in this tournament.
Tomorrow Smolensk will play with Saratov, and the day after tomorrow with Kaliningrad. Both games start at 12:30. Come to football.
