On Saturday, September 17, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Federation of Athletics, the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of physical culture and sports are holding the All-Russian Day of Running “Cross of the Nation”. In Smolensk, the event will be held on Lenin Square.
The purpose of the action is to attract the inhabitants of our country to regular physical education, sports and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
The All-Russian Day of Running “Cross of the Nation” is the largest and largest summer sports event in Russia in terms of geographical coverage. Citizens of all ages with any level of sports training can take part in the competition. This year, as in previous years, 85 regions of the Russian Federation confirmed their readiness to take part in this grandiose sporting event, with a total number of participants of more than 380 thousand people.
Competitions have been held in the Smolensk region since 2005. The predicted number of participants is 1,500 people, including schoolchildren, students, athletes and joggers – residents and guests of the city and region. Registration of participants is held from 12 to 16 September at the address: Smolensk, st. Tvardovsky, d. 14A, SSHOR them. F.T. Mikheenko, from 10:00 to 17:00.

girls born in 2003 and younger – 4 laps
10:25 a.m. – men born in 2002 and older – 8 laps

Mass runs:
10:55 h – 1 circle (sports families, veterans, runners with disabilities)
11:15 h – 1 circle (students of educational organizations, students of secondary and higher educational institutions, teams of enterprises and organizations of municipalities)
11:00 – awards ceremony for participants in sports races
Event organizers note that the race schedule may change, depending on the number of participants.
