Smolensk Federal Penitentiary Service held table tennis competitions

33 athletes from all institutions of the penitentiary system in the region competed on the tennis tables in the team championship.
The team from the special forces department took first place in the team competition. Silver awards from the Administration staff. The top three were completed by Roslavl residents from correctional colony No. 6.
The winners and runners-up were awarded with certificates, medals, cups and memorable gifts.
The table tennis tournament was the final one within the framework of the departmental Spartakiad.
Physical education teams from institutions of the penitentiary system of the Smolensk region held competitions in eight sports disciplines throughout the year. These are cross-country skiing, shooting, mini-football, volleyball, swimming, track and field cross-country, service combined and weights. Now there are results in the ninth final tournament. This means that the best sports teams of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service will soon be determined based on the results of the year.
