Slutsky: the situation around the ZNPP is getting worse

According to the chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky, the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant remains tense, and the negotiations between the presidents of Turkey and Ukraine in Lvov did not give clear guarantees that “nuclear blackmail” by Kyiv would be stopped.
“We see how the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is heating up. And the negotiations in Lvov have not yet given clear guarantees of an end to the “nuclear blackmail” on the part of the Ukrainian side. In Kyiv, false accusations against Russia are being repeated like a mantra, completely distorting the picture of what is happening today in Zaporozhye,” – explained the politician to reporters.
He stated that the LDPR supports the idea of holding an extraordinary Duma Council, which will consider the situation in Ukraine and, in particular, at the ZNPP.
