Slutsky demanded that the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament apologize to Zakharova

Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan must apologize for his statement towards the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. This opinion was expressed by the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party and the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky.
The politician emphasized that he considers Alen Simonyan’s statements unworthy.
“…I believe that the speaker of the Armenian parliament is obliged to apologize to Maria Vladimirovna and the entire Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” concluded Slutsky.
Earlier, Maria Zakharova, commenting on the criticism of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament regarding the Lachin corridor, said that representatives of the country have recently been making phrases “on the verge of rudeness.” In turn, Simonyan said that he would not answer “to some secretary.”
