Back to stagnation
The Ministry’s Statistics Department (Dares) does not comment on the monthly data, which is too volatile, favoring quarterly changes. Nevertheless, these figures confirm that the number of unemployed in category A has stagnated since March after several quarters of continuous sharp decline.
In the second quarter (April June), it only fell by 0.8% after a sharp drop of 5% in the first quarter. The downward trend continues for the number of long-term unemployed (DELD, unemployed for over a year) who represent 46.2% (-0.4 points) of those registered (A,B,C) at Employment center.
