The left welterweight of the Krasnodar SKIF Savely Shalabanov became the most productive player in the men’s handball Superleague according to the results of the regular season.
In 20 matches, he scored 118 goals, which amounted to almost 6 goals per game. At the same time, Shalabanov scored only 1 goal from the penalty spot, all the rest from the game. The second was Dmitry Kiselev from CSKA (110 goals, 19 matches), the third was Alexander Kotov from the Chekhov Bears (102 goals, 20 matches). Also, the right welterweight of SKIF Ruslan Dashko entered the top five scorers – in 19 games he hit the opponent’s goal 96 times. In seventh place is the left winger of the Krasnodar team Tran Xuan Viet (18 matches and 92 goals).
Savely Shalabanov also gave 63 assists, which was the best result in the Superleague. Alexander Kotov, who became the second, has 56 assists.
In the regular season, SKIF took seventh place and on May 6 will start quarter-final series against Viktor from Stavropol.
