This quarter-final series was the most intense in the Superleague, the other winners (Chekhov Bears, CSKA and Perm Bears) confidently passed this round.
In Stavropol, SKIF’s top scorer was Tran Xuan Viet, who scored 8 goals. Savely Shalabanov scored 7 times, Viktor Dolinin scored 6 times. Viktor has 6 goals in Sergey Bolotin’s asset, 5 more – in the ex-player of SKIF Ivan Pasenov.
Now in the semi-finals of the tournament for 5th-8th places SKIF will play with Dynamo Astrakhan. Matches will be held May 15 in Krasnodar and May 18 in Astrakhan. In another pair, Zenit from St. Petersburg and SGAU-Saratov will meet.
