Ski stadium solemnly opened in Snezhinsk

The press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Chelyabinsk Region reported that the long-awaited facility for athletes and residents of the city has begun its work.
The event dedicated to the opening of the ski stadium named after Konstantin Kuznetsov was attended by guests of honor, including the Minister of Sports of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexander Grib.
He noted that he was very pleased with the opening of such a sports facility. After all, the stadium appeared thanks to the comprehensive assistance of the city-forming enterprise and the administration of Snezhinsk.
Now, not only a well-lit ski run is available for fans of winter sports, but also the rental of the necessary equipment, with warm locker rooms. Also at the stadium in Snezhinsk there are rooms for recreation.
The start of the stadium was given by a ski race dedicated to the memory of Konstantin Kuznetsov. Competitors moved in the classical style.
Family teams competed at a distance of one and a half kilometers. There were also separate competitions for women, girls and boys.
The best athletes in each age group received gifts from the sponsor of the first competition at the new ski stadium. The presentations were presented by the trade union organization RFNC-VNIITF.
It should be noted that in Snezhinsk the reconstruction of the stadium named after Yuri Gagarin is underway. The first phase of work has already been completed. Tribunes and lighting have been replaced. Now internal work will be carried out, including the repair of locker rooms.
