SKC approved the release of six Ukrainian ships with food

The UN press service released a message stating that the Joint Dream Coordination Center in Istanbul approved on September 20 permission for the departure of six ships from the ports of Ukraine with 212,580 tons of food.

“Six vessels … are transporting a total of 212,580 tons of grain and other food products as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the statement said.

It is specified that the ships Arcturus (69,080 tons of wheat) and Gulmar will head to Spain, the first will deliver 69,080 tons of wheat, and the second – 16,300 tons of wheat, 17,350 tons of corn and 8,350 tons of barley.

Bulk carriers Akson Sara and Fulmar S will deliver 30,700 tons of corn and 4,400 tons of sunflower meal, 3,400 tons of rapeseed meal, respectively.

The Tomahawk ship will deliver 60,000 tons of sunflower meal to China, and Esence – 3,000 tons of wheat to Turkey.
