The goalkeeper of the St. Petersburg club of the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL) “SKA-Neva” Artemy Pleshkov reflected 124 shots in one match. As they say in message league, this is the highest figure in the history of world hockey.

The record was set in the fourth match of the Petrov Cup quarterfinal series between SKA-Neva and Tula AKM. The Tula club beat the St. Petersburg club with a score of 1:0. The match lasted 158 minutes 11 seconds – this is the second longest meeting in the history of Russian hockey. The teams needed five overtimes to determine the winner.

In the Kontinental Hockey League, the record for dropped shots belongs to Karri Ramo (Jokerit), in the Youth Hockey League – to Maxim Ershov (Hammer), in the National Hockey League – to Joonas Korpisalo (Columbus).
