SKA lost to Sibir in the away match of the Continental Hockey League. This is the third consecutive defeat for the Petersburgers.
The meeting was held away from home. Michal Chaikovsky from Novosibirsk opened the scoring in the 13th minute. SKA struck back only in the second period: Nikita Gusev equalized the score. For the second time, the gates of “Siberia” were hit by Damir Zhafyarov.
However, the Petersburgers failed to keep the advantage. In the 33rd minute, Vladimir Butuzov scored a powerplay goal, and soon Alexander Sharov sent the third puck into the SKA gate. The match ended with the score 3:2.
