Six Ukrainian Armed Forces drones shot down over Belgorod

The air defense system shot down six Ukrainian drones over Belgorod and the region, said the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“Over Belgorod and the Belgorod region, our air defense system shot down six UAVs. According to preliminary data, no victims. Operational services are clarifying information about the consequences on the ground,” wrote he’s on Telegram.
Ministry of Defense reported about the downing of one aircraft-type drone at about 22:00 Moscow time.
On the morning of October 5, the Ministry of Defense also reported on the destruction of aircraft-type UAVs over the Belgorod region. Gladkov said that the drone was shot down near the village of Gorkovsky in the Grayvoronsky urban district. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage.
Earlier, Gladkov wrote on social networks that about 70 shells were fired into the region from Ukraine. The most shells fell in the village of Borki, Valuysky urban district – 36 Grad MLRS shells were counted there.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. The region is regularly subjected to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region.
