Six pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died near Artemivsk

The dead military had officer ranks, the names and circumstances of the death were not disclosed. It is known that one of them was from the Poltava region, the rest – from other regions of Ukraine.
August 25 in the sky near Zhytomyr faced two Ukrainian combat training aircraft L-39. As a result of the incident, three pilots died, among them a pilot with the call sign Dzhus, who repeatedly called for the supply of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in interviews with Western media.
Russia took control of Artemovsk at the end of May. On August 29, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had reduced the intensity on the flanks of Artemovsk to regroup, but they were still a hot target.
