Singer Mariam Merabova commented on the cancellation of Orbakaite’s concerts

The MK press center hosted the release of “Theatrical Wednesday” with Marina Raikina. The guest was the Russian jazz singer, composer Mariam Merabova, who spoke about her attitude towards the SVO and the news about the cancellation of Kristina Orbakaite’s concerts in Vladivostok.

“Now is the time when we need to make statements,” says Mariam. – You don’t have to walk around with posters, but you need to identify yourself. First of all, because people need it. And people are not only Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, that year I traveled all over the country: there is not a single family there that is not at war. I immediately told my colleagues: “I am a quilted jacket.” They said to me: “Are you right for Putin?”, and I said: “Yes, I’m right for Putin.” As for the cancellation of concerts, yes, these are excesses on the ground, but they will always be.”
