The Internal Security Agency and the Polish Military Counterintelligence Service detained 46 people suspected of collaborating with Russian or Belarusian intelligence between 2016 and 2023. This was stated by Polish Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Mariusz Kamiński, reports Polish radio.
“Poland also uses mechanisms related to decisions to ban entry into Poland. Thanks to the activities of the Polish counterintelligence services during these years, 816 individuals were included in this list, whose presence in Poland posed a threat,” Kaminski noted.
According to the minister, this suggests that the current government views Russia and Belarus as potential threats.
In addition, Kaminski said that from 2008 to 2015, Poland expelled only seven people.
