Simferopol “Nika” won the veteran championship in the Crimea

In Simferopol, the championship of the Amateur Mini-Football League of Crimea among teams of veterans over 35 years old has ended.

Seven teams took part in the tournament, which spent two months figuring out whose team is the strongest at the moment. Players familiar to the Crimeans played for different teams: Anton Monakhov, Denis Golaydo, Vidas Alunderis, Sergey Lukyanov, Artyom Beloshapka, Andrey Samarin, Oleg Melnik, Alexander Gudim, Alexander Bogach and others.

At the first stage, in the “each with each” format, the teams identified the top four teams, which were supposed to continue the fight for medals in the playoffs. Serious struggle ensued between the Simferopol teams “Nika”, “SKF-Myaskov” and “MFK Simferopol”, in that order the teams settled down on the basis of the regular season, and went to the semi-finals. This trinity was joined by the players of “RNKB”, which took fourth place.

In the semi-final matches, the nominal favorites of the pairs – “Nika” and “SKF-Myaskov” won. These teams competed for gold medals in the final. “SKF-Myaskov”, leading 2-0, could not keep the victory in their hands. Regular time ended in a draw 2:2. And the post-match six-meter strikes were better punched by the players of “Niki”. The team of football coaches from “MFK Simferopol” won the match for the third place. Victoria in the consolation mini-tournament for the fifth place was won by the team of our “Airport”.

The best scorer was the player “SKF-Myaskov” Oleg Melnik, the best goalkeeper was rightfully named Yuri Sushko from “Nika”. The organizers unanimously chose the player of “SKF-Myaskov” Anton Monakhov as the best defender. And the representative of the champion, Igor Kulikov, was recognized as the best player of the entire tournament.
