“Sibir” won a confident victory over “Admiral” on home ice – 4:1

The Sibir hockey club beat Admiral from Vladivostok on home ice in Novosibirsk. The match took place on January 3 and ended with a score of 4:1.
The next match of the regular Fonbet Championship of the Continental Hockey League of the 2023/2024 season took place in Novosibirsk, in which the local Sibir hosted Admiral.
The first period passed without any goals scored. Then the real heat began on the ice. The second period was the most productive – the stands were buzzing with the support of the fans.
Legionnaire from Canada, defender of the “snowmen” Trevor Murphy scored two goals and one assist in the match. Taylor Beck and Andy Andreoff scored another goal for the stadium’s hosts, and Nikita Korotkov made two assists.
The opponents, Admiral, scored the only goal against the Novosibirsk team by Alexander Gorshkov.
After the match with Admiral, HC Sibir is in 8th place in the Eastern Conference standings with 50 points.
“Admiral” is currently in last position with 37 points.
“Sibir” will also play the next match at home – on January 5, the “snowmen” meet with “Salavat Yulaev” from Ufa.
