Until March 24, events dedicated to the region will be held at the Russia exhibition

Guests of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” will be able to learn about the history of Bashkiria, the secrets of the famous Shulgan-Tash cave and try on national costumes. The Days of the Republic of Bashkortostan are being held at the Rosneft pavilion from March 20 to 24. Until the end of the week, visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn about the production and social achievements of the oil company’s enterprises in the region, get acquainted with the rich culture and natural beauty of the region, and also see a vibrant entertainment program.

These days, guests will enjoy a rich program of educational and entertainment events related to the history and culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Everyone will get acquainted with interesting episodes of the centuries-old history of the region, including the secrets of the unique rock paintings of ancient people of the Paleolithic era in the Shulgan-Tash (Kapova) cave and the military exploits of Bashkir warriors in the fight against external enemies of Russia.

Guests of the exhibition will be presented with lectures and presentations on the discovery and start of production of the legendary Bashkir oil, which marked a new era in the development of the oil industry and played an invaluable role in the Victory of our country in the Great Patriotic War.

In addition, guests of the exhibition will be able to win prizes by participating in competitions, quizzes and quizzes dedicated to the history and culture of the republic. Also on the screens of the pavilion all day long there will be videos about the unique nature of Bashkiria.

The program of regional Days also includes performances by artists with musical and dance numbers demonstrating the rich culture of the Bashkir people. Guests will be able to try on national costumes, in particular the traditional men’s outfit of the Yelyans and the main decoration of Bashkir women – selter. Those who like to create non-trivial souvenirs can, together with instructors, make decorative items from real felt and other souvenirs that they can take with them. Everyone is given the opportunity to take a photo in an authentic Bashkir yurt and receive a photo as a souvenir via a QR code.

The opening ceremony of the Days of the Region was attended by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov.

The Prime Minister noted that with the help of oil workers, schools, hospitals, transport infrastructure facilities are being actively reconstructed and developed, cultural institutions are being built, and mass and professional sports are being developed.

As part of the cooperation agreement between Rosneft and the Republic of Bashkortostan, large-scale work is being carried out in the region to develop social infrastructure.

The region also has the largest research and design institute, which carries out the full cycle of designing the development and infrastructure of the oil company’s main fields.

As part of the thematic days, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of development of auto tourism was signed. The document provides for the implementation of joint projects aimed at stimulating demand for domestic automobile tourism, promoting the tourism potential of Bashkortostan, refueling infrastructure facilities and roadside services.

Let us remind you that the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” is held by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin from November 4, 2023 to July 8, 2024 on the territory of VDNKh.
