74-year-old Russian actor Boris Shcherbakov was cured of cancer. He recently underwent a follow-up examination, which showed very good results, writes telegram channel SHOT with reference to the source.
According to the channel, the star of the series “Soldiers” and “Detectives” received a terrible diagnosis in February of this year. Doctors found a malignant tumor in his kidney. The artist required urgent surgery; the damaged organ had to be removed.
After more than six months of rehabilitation, doctors observe significant improvements in Shcherbakov, although there are some heart problems due to coronary artery disease. But otherwise the results are good.
Shcherbakov’s wife, actress Tatyana Bronzeva, was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, which became a difficult ordeal for the family. Boris supported his wife; she underwent treatment for many years and now continues to be seen by doctors due to the risk of relapse.
