A large number of female doctors expressed a desire to volunteer in the special military operation zone. The head of the Russian military department, Sergei Shoigu, spoke about this at the headquarters of the United Group of Forces. According to the minister, who the day before inspected the training of volunteers and contract soldiers at the training grounds of the Southern Military District, and also heard reports from group commanders at the joint headquarters, work on recruiting volunteers and contract soldiers continues. Thus, nine reserve regiments have already been formed.
The minister said that at one of the training grounds where preparations for replenishment are underway, he met with a group of female volunteers. “These are doctors, medical workers,” the minister said. “Girls from different places: from Tula, from Yalta, from Krasnodar and Siberia, from everywhere.” At the same time, according to the minister, the girls said that they had already completed training and that it was time to send them there to the North Military District zone.
It turned out that female doctors are very much needed in the training center, where they teach fighters the ability to provide first aid in case of injury, including to themselves. “I’ll frankly say,” noted Sergei Shoigu, “it was a big surprise for me that a large number of women volunteer and perform tasks no worse than men.”
In conclusion, the minister said: “My thanks to everyone. I hope that with people like these we have no other options but to win.”
