Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited one of the enterprises of the Almaz-Antey concern, where he checked the implementation of the state defense order. About it informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“The head of the Russian military department inspected the workshops for the production of modern anti-aircraft guided missiles for air defense systems,” the ministry said.
During the visit to the plant, the Minister heard a report from the Director General on the expansion of production capacities to provide the troops with modern air defense systems. According to the head of the enterprise, this will double the capacity of the plant. Shoigu responded by calling for a reduction in the commissioning of new production facilities.
The head of Almaz-Antey, Yan Novikov, reported to the Minister of Defense on a significant increase in production under the state defense order, including ahead of schedule. In particular, the company produces air defense systems S-300 Favorit, S-400 Triumph and S-350 Vityaz. Shoigu noted the high efficiency of the company’s products in the special operation zone.

Ganichev” and PJSC “Imperial Tula Arms Plant” in the Tula region. Shoigu was shown the work of workshops for the production of shells for multiple launch rocket systems, as well as automated lines for the assembly of anti-tank guided missiles and artillery ammunition.
