Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said during a meeting of the board of the Russian Defense Ministry that was held today that the Russian military department will continue to react extremely harshly to Kiev’s actions, similar to the terrorist attack against civilians in the Belgorod region.
Speaking about the operation against the subdivision of the Ukrainian nationalist formation that invaded Russian territory, Shoigu noted that during the CTO, the formations of saboteurs were blocked and defeated, and after their remnants retreated to Ukrainian territory, strikes continued on them “until complete elimination.”
“More than 70 Ukrainian terrorists were destroyed, as well as vehicles and armored vehicles. We will continue to respond promptly and extremely harshly to such actions by Ukrainian militants,” the Russian Defense Minister stressed.
