Shoigu announced the digital modernization of military registration and enlistment offices

The work of military registration and enlistment offices will have to be modernized in the near future. In particular, it is necessary to digitize databases, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a conference call.

“In the near future, the work of the military commissariats will have to be modernized,” he said (quote according to TASS).

Shoigu explained that we are talking about the digitalization of databases and updating the system for organizing civil and territorial defense. In addition, it is necessary to establish cooperation with local and regional authorities, as well as with industrial enterprises, the minister added.

Speaking about the plans of the defense department for 2023, Shoigu said that the Ministry of Defense was going to expand the arsenal of modern strike weapons of the Russian Armed Forces. There is also a task to finalize the equipment and equipment of the military “to the highest level,” he stressed.
