Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin checked the work of the Moscow city selection point for military service under a contract. The minister and the mayor were informed that in 2023, more than 20 thousand people signed a contract for military service at the Moscow selection point.

“The head of the Russian military department and the mayor of the city were reported on the procedure for undergoing testing activities and medical examinations by candidates for military service under a contract in the RF Armed Forces,” reported press service Ministry of Defense.
