Despite the supply of NATO weapons, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are defeated in the special operation zone, making unsuccessful attempts to attack Russian positions. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, adding that Russian air defense will destroy the F-16s promised by the United States to Ukraine in about 20 days.

He noted that over the past month the Russian army has destroyed 37 aircraft and six ATACMS missiles. Shoigu noted that the number of downed aircraft is almost twice the number of F-16 fighters promised by the United States to Ukraine. “With the way our air defense system operates, this is approximately 20 days of work,” the minister said.

According to Shoigu, the Russian military continues to actively defend and inflict fire damage on the enemy. He added that units of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation are also moving forward, “occupying more advantageous lines and positions.”

October 31 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported about repelling nine attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansky, Krasnolimansky and Zaporozhye directions. The day before, the Russian Armed Forces repelled 12 attacks by Ukrainian troops.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the military department, since the beginning of hostilities, 518 aircraft, 254 helicopters, more than 840 drones, over 13,000 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 441 anti-aircraft missile systems and other equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed.
