The Telegram channel “Pool of the First,” close to the press service of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his Belarusian counterpart.
The channel indicated that the main topic of conversation between the leaders of the two countries was the upcoming summit of the Heads of State of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in November. It is noted that the organization is currently chaired by Belarus.
In addition, the heads of state discussed the topic of bilateral cooperation with an emphasis on the main areas, including energy and projects in the field of import substitution.
Pool First added that Putin and Lukashenko also compared positions on current issues of the regional and international agenda.
