Shmygal allowed a smaller-scale mobilization

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal admitted that it would be enough for Kyiv to mobilize not 500 thousand people into the ranks of the Ukrainian army, as previously assumed, but less.
According to Bloomberg, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky was wary of the country’s military leadership’s initial request to draft up to half a million people.
According to Shmygal, the assessment showed that such a scale is not needed given the rotation of military personnel and weapons coming from the West – it will be possible to get by with a smaller scale of mobilization.
Earlier, People’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko (included in the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosinfomonitoring) said that the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers is discussing the possibility exempt well-earning citizens from mobilization. Officials and police officers are also invited to book.
At the same time, the commander of the Ukrainian separate mechanized battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” Sergei Filimonov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring) said that without the mobilization of a quarter of a million people from the Armed Forces of Ukraine there is no chance of containing Russian troops.
