Ships of the Pacific Fleet conducted exercises to repel a drone raid on Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, the crews of the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov” and the corvette “Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov” held a joint training to repel the approach of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of a mock enemy.
“The territorial control center of the Pacific Fleet, in accordance with the plan of the training, announced to the crews of the ships an introductory message about the approach to the base point of the main base of the fleet of unidentified UAVs,” the press service of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) said in a statement.
A training alarm was announced on the ships. The UAVs were intercepted by specialists of the radio-technical warhead of the Marshal Shaposhnikov frigate and conditionally destroyed by the artillery crew of the Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov corvette.
Recall that the main base of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol has repeatedly was subjected to attacked airborne and maritime drones since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Defense, their attacks were successfully repelled.
