Shadayev commented on data on plans to give companies the right to suppress drones

The authorities do not yet plan to allow citizens and companies to use drone suppression systems; discussions on this topic are ongoing, said Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev.

“There are no such plans yet. While we are discussing in what part the law needs to be amended, where this line goes,” told Minister to journalists at the Kazan Digital Week forum (quote from Interfax). He explained that if electronic warfare systems are allowed to be used by everyone, then “there will be a complete mess with frequencies, with the stability of mobile communications.”
