In the coming days, the highest temperature anomalies are expected in Yakutia, Leningrad, Novgorod and Kaliningrad regions. According to information provided by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, the temperature will be 7-9 degrees above normal.
In Yakutia, up to plus 11-18 degrees is expected, which is 7-9 degrees higher than normal. In the Leningrad region, from September 27 to 30, the temperature will be up to plus 20 degrees, which is also 7-8 degrees higher than normal. A similar situation is expected in the Novgorod and Kaliningrad regions.
According to Vilfand, a real velvet season has begun in the Kaliningrad region, where the air temperature is plus 20-26 degrees, and the water warms up to plus 18-19 degrees.
